Whisperbox is a browser-based tool that lets you hide ("seal") a text message, link, image, or text file inside the Comment Extension block of a GIF you provide, and later extract ("reveal") anything sealed inside a GIF. All sealing and revealing happens locally in your own browser. We do not create, edit, verify, or approve the content you hide. Only an automated system scans for illegal content.
You are solely responsible for everything you upload, seal, reveal, generate, or share using the Website, including but not limited to text, images, GIFs, hyperlinks, files, logos, copyrighted material, and trademarks. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to use, hide, and share the content you submit.

We reserve the right to restrict or block access to the Website for anyone we reasonably believe is using it for a prohibited purpose.
Before text or an image is sealed into a GIF, it is checked by an automated screening system. This includes a filter for hate speech and slurs (ordinary strong language is not filtered and will not affect your access), and a check for images that match known databases of illegal content. Content that matches will not be sealed, and the account or IP address involved will be permanently banned from the Website without warning. Where required by law, matching content may also be reported to the relevant authorities or child safety organisations. These filters are provided as a safety measure and are not guaranteed to catch every instance of prohibited content; if prohibited content bypasses them, you remain solely responsible for it under Sections 2 and 3.
Text and images submitted for sealing pass through the automated screening described in Section 4 before the seal completes; the finished GIF itself is still produced and stored only in your own browser. We do not otherwise review, monitor, or inspect your content. We are under no obligation to monitor user activity beyond this automated screening, and may restrict or permanently ban access at any time if we believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated.
Aside from the brief automated screening step described in Section 4, the Website does not upload, transmit, or store the GIFs, text, images, or files you process. The sealed or revealed result exists only in your browser for the duration of your session and is lost once you close or refresh the tab unless you download it yourself. You are solely responsible for saving and backing up anything you create.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any loss, deletion, corruption, or inaccessibility of any content you process through the Website, including as a result of browser crashes, closed tabs, or device failure. Use the Website entirely at your own risk.
Content sealed inside a GIF using the Website may include links to third-party websites. We do not review, endorse, or accept responsibility for third-party websites or their content. Visiting third-party websites is entirely at your own risk.
All software, branding, graphics, design, and source code that make up the Website remain our property (or that of our licensors). Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that intellectual property to you. This does not affect ownership of the content you personally seal into or reveal from a GIF, which remains yours (or the relevant rights holder's).
The Website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted operation. We do not guarantee that the Website will always be available, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we, our owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the Website, content you process through it, lost or corrupted files, third-party links, or technical failures. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Website and its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Website, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
We may restrict or block access to the Website at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated, or if necessary to protect the Website or other users.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
